Marigold

 

Suitable for full sun and good drainage. It does not require a lot of soil. The optimum growing temperature is 15-20°C (59-86°F), but it tolerates summer heat and will continue to flower with little or no damage from light frosts.

In the garden, it does not need to be watered unless it is very dry. Potted plants are prone to withering of the lower leaves if they run out of water, so give them plenty of water when the soil starts to dry out.

 

日当たりと水はけが良い場所で管理する。土の量はあまり必要としない。生育適温は15-20℃ですが夏の暑さには強く、軽い霜の被害はほとんどなく花を咲かせ続けます。庭植えではよほど乾燥しない限り水やりの必要はない。鉢植えは水切れすると下葉が枯れやすいので土が乾き始めたらたっぷりと水を与える。
